Karnataka's Bhoomi portal is genuinely one of the better digital land record systems in India — but "better" doesn't mean simple. Dropdown menus assume you already know terms like Hobli, Hissa, or Surnoc. Error messages don't explain themselves. And when something goes wrong — an OTP that never arrives, a mutation stuck on Pending for two months — there's no obvious next step listed anywhere on the official site.
